How should I maintain the eartips and devices?

To keep your LumiEars performing at their best, it’s important to clean them regularly:

  • After each use, remove any earwax or debris from the eartips and microphones using the included cleaning brush or a soft, lint-free cloth.

  • Gently brush out the wax guard to prevent buildup that could affect sound quality.

  • Keep the charging case and charging contacts clean and dry, as wax or moisture buildup can cause charging issues or internal damage.

  • Make sure both the devices and eartips are free from wax before placing them back in the case — this prevents leakage into the charging ports or units.

  • Replace your ear tips and wax guards every 3-6 months for optimal performance and hygiene.

Our easy-to-follow manual walks you through connecting to the app in just a few steps. The app itself is user-friendly and intuitive. Why is my device making a beeping sound?

A beeping sound can occur for a few reasons — most commonly when the battery is low or when the device is switching modes. Please refer to the User Guide included with your LumiEars for specific explanations and troubleshooting steps. The guide was written to be clear and easy to follow, even for users who aren’t tech-savvy.


How does “one size fits all” work?

Each LumiEar device includes multiple sizes of soft silicone eartips so you can find your ideal fit. Simply try the different sizes until you find the one that feels secure yet comfortable. A proper fit ensures the best sound quality, reduces feedback, and provides all-day comfort.


Can I purchase just one hearing aid?

For the best results, we recommend using a pair. The brain processes sound from both ears together — this helps improve clarity, depth, and balance. Using only one hearing aid when both ears have hearing loss can make it harder for your brain to interpret sounds correctly.
